Finally got my deer scored. I took him down to Cabelas and got him entered into P&Y. When I picked up an issue of Trophy Hunter Magazine, I was surprised to find this on the first page.

Well the sun sets on another great year of chasing gods creatures, can't wait till next season to start some more memories.

Probably one of the funnest hunts I have ever been on was this one. Quintins daughter was lucky enough to draw a youth elk tag. We had a ton of fun and was able to call this bull in the last day of the hunt for her. The bull was only 20 yds from me when she pulled the trigger. Great job, thanks for letting me tag along and call for ya!

This was home for a while during the archery elk hunt out on the north slope. We stayed for a few days and had a few bulls bugle, but they just were not into it. We moved to a new area and had a lot of chances the last few days of the hunt. I got to watch my father in law Steve shoot at a few elk(this was his first year bowhunting elk) We even called in a calf to a few feet from Steve, it was a lot of fun though neither one of us tagged out

Found some wallows this year that had been tore up, Quintin and I decided to sit and see what would come in. After a while, we had a spike come in and start to wallow. He was taring it up just like a big bull would do! When Quintin started breathing hard I knew he was going to shoot him. One shot through the neck(his arrow deflected off a pine) and the bull was his. We packed this bull out in one trip.

The bull didn't make it far after the shot, good job Quintin!

Got lucky in 2010 and drew a archery antelope tag. This was home for a few days. The hunt was fun, but the Division had failed to tell the hunters that they had transplanted most of the antelope out of the area. I had a few chances spot and stalk but couldn't connect. The water hole thing didn't pan out because it rained for days before the hunt leaving water every where.
These crickets were every where I thought they were grass hoppers on steroids!
One of the waterholes I saw a few bucks come to. They never showed when I was there.

Not to be outdone, I know how to catch a few browns myself. This guy I got from the bank at Jordanelle with a black maribou.
